There are over 80 constantly evolving clubs and societies, with activities taking place at lunchtime or after school.
Clubs cater for mainstream interests but also offer a diverse range of more specialist activities at the girls’ request, such as road-running, Textiles for Africa,fun philosophy and yoga.
Sixth Formers have the opportunity to lead some clubs and activities for younger girls through the Student Leader Scheme.
Girls can take part in community service helping in local junior schools, visiting the elderly and supporting the work of Pinderfields Hospital and Wakefield Hospice.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is very well-supported and the school is immensely proud to be one of the largest DofE centres in England.
