Guidance and Support

Sixth Form provides a transitional phase between lower school and university. Students nurture greater independence, more effective study skills and broaden their horizons beyond the confines of the classroom.

Form Tutors play a pivotal role offering 1:1 guidance and advice to students, and through supporting them and stretching their capabilities allow them to not only achieve their academic potential but to make informed decisions about their university or further education options.

Located in the Sixth Form Centre, the Head and Assistant Head of Sixth Form, are readily accessible for support and guidance in all areas of Sixth Form life.

Sixth Formers have ready access to the resources available in the Careers Centre, with a dedicated team of four members of staff. In both Years 12 and 13, careers guidance and advice has sessions within the timetable.
