Physical Education is an integral part of the timetable for girls in Years 7 to 9.
In Years 7 and 8, girls have three periods of timetabled PE a week which focuses predominantly on Hockey and Netball in the Winter and Tennis, Athletics and ball skills in the Summer.
As girls progress through the school, they can choose from a much broader range of sports during both lessons and extra-curricular clubs.
Girls can take a GCSE in Physical Education, involving practical and theoretical work. At A-Level, PE is taught jointly with QEGS providing a more specialised and academic study of sport.
