Girls are given every assistance and encouragement to reach their potential. Teaching is class based with each subject taught by a highly qualified subject specialist. By the end of Year 9 girls have a breadth of learning on which to build for GCSE success and beyond.

- Years 7-9 are taught an impressively wide and varied range of subjects
- French is taught throughout, with the opportunity to study Spanish or German
- Girls take 9 subjects at GCSE with the opportunity to take the ICT ECDL qualification
- Well over half of all GCSE grades are at A and A*
- Three or four subjects are studied at A-Level, plus General Studies
- A-level subjects may be studied at WGHS or jointly with QEGS
