There is ample opportunity for girls to enjoy participating in sport both within the curriculum and competitively through regular inter school fixtures. Girls from Reception to Y6 enjoy timetabled PE and Years 2, 3 and 4 enjoy swimming every week. Years 3 to 6 benefit from specialist PE teaching.

- Reception to Year 2 utilise the excellent gym apparatus in Mulberry House Hall as well as outdoor play areas for games
- The Hartley Sports Pavilion provides an indoor netball court and ample space for gym and dance lessons
- The Year 3 to 6 playground has its own netball courts and girls use the flood lit all weather astroturf for hockey lessons and practices
- Swimming lessons use the pool at QEGS Junior School
- Sports played include netball, hockey, gym, dance, swimming, rounders and mini tennis
- Girls regularly compete in Regional and National finals for Netball and Hockey
- Every girl from Reception to Year 6 takes part in an Annual Sports Day
