Trips and Expeditions

Over the last few years the many school trips on offer have taken in virtually every continent on the globe, through a wide programme covering a multitude of interests.

Some trips form an integral part of the taught curriculum, whilst others take place at weekends or during holiday times. Foreign exchanges to France and the USA, subject field trips and day trips closer to home complement the school curriculum. Cultural, sporting and music tours, alongside numerous social trips, including skiing, fishing and outdoor pursuits, add to the diversity of activities on offer to pupils of all ages at QEGS.

Joint groups of senior students from QEGS and WGHS have benefited from overseas expeditions, enjoying outdoor activities, wildlife and landscape diversities and contributing to local communities through voluntary work in orphanages and schools in countries such as Costa Rica, Borneo and more recently Peru.
