Old Savilians' Club

Friendships developed during school days at QEGS continue into later life. Strong bonds are formed between all those who have shared the experience of belonging to QEGS – a school proud of its reputation for friendliness and community, as well
as tradition and success.

Since its foundation in 1898, The Old Savilians’ Club has received tremendous support from all ages and continues to promote fellowship amongst Old Savilians. Old Savilians remain in touch and well informed through a calendar of events. These include sports fixtures and an overseas weekend, as well as a network of dinners at venues across the UK, the most popular being the Annual Dinner held each year in the QE Hall at QEGS.

The strong network of Old Savilians provides opportunities for work experience with many Old Savilians returning to school to share their workplace experiences and careers advice with existing students. Without doubt, it is the involvement with the tremendous range of extra-curricular activities on offer during their time at QEGS that many Old Savilians look back on with great affection.

The experiences that students treasure from their school days have proven to be of enormous value in their life since school – not least developing life-long interests, building their CVs and expanding their horizons.
