IGCSE Maths
Since 2006 QEGS has opted to pursue IGCSE Maths for most students instead of the standard GCSE Maths examination. Many leading independent schools have opted for this course as well. The IGCSE examination is considered a more suitable exam for the majority of our students, furnishing them with more appropriate mathematical skills and being a better preparation for A-level and beyond. As yet, the IGCSE exam is not included in official Government statistics and therefore any inclusion of the school in secondary school league tables is completely misleading.
