We appreciate that choosing an independent school is a major financial commitment for any family. Our fees compare favourably with other independent schools and include many items other schools charge as ‘extras’. School fees include a daily three course lunch, books, stationery, chromebook (senior section), exam fees, learning support, curriculum-based trips and visits and student accident insurance. It’s our way of helping to keep costs to a minimum.

Fees in advance

Each year we offer a fees in advance scheme. For the academic year 2024-25 this will give parents the option of paying upfront for anything from one year up to a maximum of five years in exchange for a discount on the standard fee rate payable. All payments under the fees in advance scheme will be required before the start of the term to which it relates.

Application Fee & Deposit

A non-refundable fee of £50 is charged to process every application. When you accept a place at QEGS, we request a deposit of £300. We refund this deposit after your son leaves the school. Deposits are not returned if students withdraw after places have been accepted.

INDIVIDUAL MUSIC TUITION

Individual music tuition is charged per lesson, and this is invoiced termly in arrears.

£22.35 per lesson (Average of 10 lessons per term) for the academic year starting September 2024.

Note: A full term’s notice in writing to the Director of Finance and Operations is required before a pupil is withdrawn from any school in the Foundation. This does not apply to pupils in Year 13.
