The Owl Badge is awarded to a boy on the first occasion in each calendar year he represents the school. Most boys receive their Owl Badge each year – testimony to the range and scope of opportunities on offer for all ages and abilities.

  • Most activities take place during lunchtime - a few after school
  • Clubs include Art Club, Football Club, Chess, Fencing, Jazz and other music ensembles
  • At break times boys can either play in the main playground or in the quieter Millennium Garden, which has seating, a sandpit and outdoor chess set
  • Every boy belongs to a house - Cave, Bentley, Savile or Freeston and there is strong house spirit
  • There are regular inter-house competitions in music and all sports
