Children of all ages enjoy trips and welcoming special visitors to Mulberry House to share their interests and experiences. Recent trips include Eureka, Dewsbury Toy Museum, Shibden Hall, Beamish Museum, Tropical World, Cannon Hall and pond dipping at Fairburn Ings.

- Nursery go on an annual picnic to the QEGS playing fields for fun and games
- All pupils in Kindergarten to Year 2 enjoy 2 day trips each year which compliment their curriculm
- Visitors to school each year include The Animal Lady and visiting poets
- A special visitor comes every Christmas to all pupils in Mulberry House
- Book Fairs are held twice a year in Mulberry House offering a variety of titles for all ages
