Boys and girls join one of the three parallel Kindergarten classes at 4 years of age. While many will have already been in our Nursery, others join having attended playgroups and day nurseries elsewhere.

- Three classes of 22 children with their own teacher and assistants
- Mornings focus upon literacy and mathematics through a combination of play and structured learning
- English and Mathematics follow a syllabus which continues the Foundation Stage from Nursery and links in to the National Curriculum Key Stage 1
- Free play activities happen most afternoons- arts, crafts, role play, music or PE, encouraging independent and collaborative working
- Kindergarten role play room allows pupils to dress up and explore different themes
- School day is 8.45am - 3.20pm
