Mulberry House Nursery

Home-School Partnership

When a child joins Mulberry House Nursery the parents join too.

We welcome parental involvement and appreciate participation both in the Nursery and in extra-curricular activities.

During the Autumn Term, there is an opportunity for parents to hear about the approach to learning covered in Nursery and what to expect during the following year.

Parents' Evenings take place during the Academic Year. The purpose of such events is to provide the opportunity for parents to meet with the Nursery teachers on an individual basis to discuss their child's progress.

We are always available should parents wish to discuss any matters with us and you do not have to wait for an official Parents' Evening.

Communications

During the course of the year parents will receive a number of letters from Nursery, all of which are intended to keep them as informed as possible about past and future events in Nursery. They are an important route of communication and provide a vital ink between school and home.
The Nursery Notice Board also displays information, such as the lunch menus and Parent - Teacher events.

Parent Helpers

Parent Helpers are always very welcome in Mulberry House! Parents help with a wide variety of activities throughout the Pre Prep Department including sewing, baking, art and craft activities, story telling and Maths games so whatever your strength is we can find you a job to do! This could be on a regular basis or perhaps helping on a School Visit. If you are interested please contact Mrs Cawthorne in writing to arrange a meeting. All Helpers have to go through a checking procedure and need to get a CRB disclaimer but we can explain all these details when you visit us.
